Supporting the integration of international students through gastronomy

The campus supports international students in many ways to help them integrate quickly into the community. One of the best common languages is gastronomy: through flavours and dishes, people can gain a direct insight into the culture of a nation. The restaurant operated by Széchenyi István University in the ETO Park shopping centre offers an excellent opportunity to discover both Indian and Hungarian cuisine – just as the name Paneer suggests.

Knauz Péter, strategic director of the university-owned company operating the restaurant, explained that the name Paneer refers to a versatile Indian cheese used in many different ways. Naturally, the restaurant is open not only to students, but welcomes all guests.
